Lee, Guinea Pig, September 2003 to October 11, 2007
I have loved and lost a few of our beloved family members over the years, but the most recent one passed over less than a week ago. Many people might think of a guinea pig as just a "rodent" (including my husband, at first), but we quickly fell in love with this little creature. She became surprisingly loving and affectionate (she would bestow kisses on my daughter's cheek), and was the best snuggler. She would purr often, and would purr just knowing something was going to happen (her favorite food was coming, she was getting out to snuggle, etc.) Anyone who has ever "owned" a guinea will know what I'm talking about when I say she could be a "Diva", and I was her willing slave. Even though my life is a busy one, much of my day was spent petting her, feeding her, cleaning her cage, talking to her, etc. Even though we currently have three dogs in the house, there is a great silence in all the rooms she used to dwell. She is and will be greatly missed. Sadly missed by Katie, Connie and Kevin Sweet
Victor, Lovingly know as Noonie, Dog - Boxer, Unknown to 6th of July, 2002. Our special boy Noonie...will be missed muchley, a loving natured dog who would stand by your every move. He loved life, He had a beautiful free spirit which we all admired, He Loved his attention and we loved giving it to him. We miss you old boy, but your free now and still living in our hearts. We will always love you. Sadly missed by his loving parents / Jean + Harry, jamie and Michelle
Vito, Lovingly known as Vito Mosquito and Vitie, Chocolate Lab, Jan 12, 1993 to Nov 27, 2003 Vito was our "good boy". You melted our hearts the day you came into our lives as a tiny puppy. Our hearts broke the day you died and left us, our old faithful friend. Age and disease took your life from you, but we know that you are alive in heaven. You are running and playing, with no pain ! or suffering. The gleam in your eye is back, and you are able to swim and do all the things you couldn't do for so long. We look forward to seeing you again one day, and having you for eternity. Sadly missed by Paul, Susan, CJ, Simon, Rudy, and Kitty |
